Activity Center
This page goes over the Activity Center, a centralized page for all the team’s activities.
The Activity Center displays all the activities from all the members of the pipeline! You can find differences with the other activity sections of Sales CRM below.
Navigating to the Activity Center
The Activity Center can be accessed through the tab on the side by clicking on the “calendar” looking icon.
There, you will be able to see all your existing activities (for all members of the pipeline), and their corresponding information organized in columns: Done, Summary, Organizer, Owner, Attendees, Labels, Item, Update time, Start date, Private description, Public Description, Calendar. More columns can be added by clicking on the “cog” icon on the right side of the screen.
Remember: the activity center displays upcoming activities and tasks from all members of the pipeline. This can be very useful for managers to track the progress of deals and prospects.
Adding Filters and Sorting through the Activity Center
Because the Activity Center centralizes all the activities of the pipeline within one space, a lot of information can be displayed.
Adding Filters, Creating Custom Filters and Dynamic Filters
While navigating the Accounts Section of Sales CRM, you are able to add filters in order to limit the results that come by based on your filters.
Accessing Filters
You can find the filters on the upper left section of the accounts with the funnel icon.
From the filters:
1- you will be able to access your favorites (the ones that you have marked as such by clicking on the star icon)
2- You will be able to filter by Account owners
3- You will be able to see your custom filters
4- You will be able to add a new filter
Creating a new Filter
You can create a new filter by pressing the “+ Add new filter” button.
This will provide you with options for your new filters:
Name: Name of the custom filter
Conditions: add filter by Groups, Labels, Account, or additional fields
Visibility: determines whether the filter is private (filter’s creator) or if it is public (everyone in the pipeline has access).
Once the custom filter is created, it will be accessible from the “Filters” section of the filters menu.
Modifying and Reorganizing the columns in the Activity Center
Moving Columns Around
You can move columns arounds by clicking on the downward triangle that appears and choosing the position to move the column to (left or right).
Hiding Columns
You can move columns arounds by clicking on the downward triangle that appears and choosing the “Hide column” option.
Sorting Columns
Some columns can be sorted alphabetically (A -->Z or Z--->A) by clicking on the “Sort” button.
Adding Columns
You can always add the columns you’ve hidden, or add more columns .
This can be done by clicking on the “cog” icon on the right side of the screen and adding the field of interest. You can use the search tab to find the field you are looking for.
Difference between My Work, Account/Contact/Deal Activities, and Activity Center
My Work: Can be accessed anywhere and will only display the user’s upcoming activities, overdue activities, and completed activities.
Account/Contact/Deal Activities: Can be accessed by clicking on an Account/Contact/Deal. Will display all the activities that have been linked to that subject (all members of the pipeline)
Activity Center: Can be accessed by the icon on the left side of the screen. Will display all activities and tasks that have been created by all members of the pipeline
